Dress Code
Philosophy
The way we dress reflects our view of ourselves and the world around us. The way we dress also impacts how we behave and may affect the individuals with whom we interact. In Romans 12:1-2, we are instructed “…to make a decisive dedication of your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God which is your reasonable service…not conformed to this world, (fashioned after and adapted to its external superficial customs), but be transformed by the renewal of your mind…”
At LSCS, we have an expectation not to conform to the world, particularly while we consider our dress. More so, our community seeks to develop a spirit of unity while nurturing and formulating leaders for the world beyond secondary education. We strive to create a culture of leadership among a community of students, faculty and staff in cooperation with parents through a common expectation of respectful dress. The dress code should assist you as a parent in raising future leaders who have a heart to follow God.
